The decomposed body of a young woman was found floating Monday in the Inner Harbor near the Maryland Science Center.
Police were called around 7 a.m., after a passer-by spotted the body near the end of the pier.
The woman was wearing a Baltimore City Community College identification badge. Police estimate she had been in the water for two to three days
The woman?s identity was withheld pending notification of relatives.
“The body was decomposed, so it was difficult to tell if there was any sign of trauma,” said Kevin Cartwright, Baltimore City Fire Department spokesman.
