Investigation continues into SE Texas shooting

VIDOR, Texas (AP) — Authorities in Southeast Texas have released the names of two men involved in a fatal shooting east of Beaumont.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement Sunday that the initial investigation showed that 47-year-old Steven James Coutee fatally shot 60-year-old Ronald Thomas Barnes near Vidor on Saturday.
