Jackson matriarch reported missing by nephew, grandkids

When Trent Jackson, Katherine Jackson’s nephew, couldn’t reach his 82-year-old aunt, he filed a missing-persons report saying Michael Jackson’s children have been unable to reach her for a week.

Paris Jackson, the late King of Pop’s 14-year-old daughter, tweeted Sunday, “Yes, my grandmother is missing. I haven’t spoken with her in a week [and] I want her home now.”

Katherine’s attorney and Michael’s three children had seen her on July 15, but not since, the attorney told CNN.

“The kids were trying to get ahold of their grandmother and they haven’t been able to reach her for almost a week,” the attorney said. “They are told she’s unavailable … I’m concerned that she’s not safe.” She added that Katherine “has never gone 24 hours without talking to her kids.”

Michael’s brother Jermaine Jackson took to Twitter to deny the reports, saying, “Mother is fine but is resting up in AZ on the orders of a doctor, not us.”

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has told Us Weekly “Katherine Jackson is reportedly with family members. … Deputies are continuing to make efforts to reach her and ask that she contact the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station.”
