Eighty-two percent of Ukrainians are confident in their ability to repel Russia‘s invasion, according to a poll.
A Gradus Research Company report on “socio-political moods during the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation’s troops on the territory of Ukraine” published on March 4 also revealed that citizens believe “the power of Armed Forces of Ukraine,” “cohesion and resistance of Ukrainian society,” and “West military support” will be “guarantees of Ukraine’s victory.”
The survey was conducted between Feb. 28 and March 1 and featured 2,144 respondents.
According to 72% of Ukrainians, “life has changed (radically + significantly)” since the outbreak of the war.

Seventy-seven percent of respondents said they believe the war will serve to make Ukraine stronger while breaking Russia’s economy and isolating it from the rest of the world.
Sixty-three percent of people trust in the armed forces of Ukraine, making it the most trusted institution, with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky coming in second with 54%.
Eighty-five percent of respondents said they support the actions of Zelensky.
On Monday, a Ukrainian official said Russia’s attack on its cities has caused $10 billion worth of damage. Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov, however, remained optimistic, saying, “The majority of structures will be repaired in a year, and the most difficult ones — in two years.”
