WATCH: Person yells ‘Epstein didn’t kill himself’ during live MSNBC impeachment coverage

A person shouted, “Epstein didn’t kill himself!” on live television while MSNBC reporter Garrett Haake was discussing impeachment with MSNBC host Ari Melber.

“That was a first- just had someone walk behind my live shot and yell ‘Epstein didn’t kill himself!'” Haake said Wednesday on Twitter after the incident.

This is the second time someone has shouted the sentiment on MSNBC. Last month on the network, a University of Alabama student shouted the phrase to explain why he supported President Trump.

The phrase has become a viral meme with jokes about Epstein’s death being spread on the internet and others trying to shout the phrase on national television. During impeachment hearings, a caller into C-SPAN said he would ask former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch whether she knew that “Jeffrey Epstein didn’t kill himself.”

Convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, 66, died in August in his New York prison cell. The New York medical examiner said he died of suicide, but others claim he was murdered, including his brother.
