President Obama has gone local in his pick for the Labor Department’s top cop.
Main Justice reports that Obama has asked veteran Maryland prosecutor Paul Tiao to become Labor’s inspector general.
Tiao has been with the U.S. Attorney’s office in Maryland since 2002. He has been detailed, first to the Senate Judiciary Committee and then to FBI director Robert Mueller, since 2007.
