Let the divorce proceedings begin!
On Monday, Kim Kardashian’s legal team began deposing her ex-husband, Kris Humphries, in Minneapolis.
Kris has accused his wife of 72 days of fraud by marrying him for TV ratings and cheating on him while they were married.
Kim’s attorney said recently, “I feel that the respondent’s personal feelings and maybe some media drive is keeping this case from getting resolved.”
Kim did not travel to Minnesota on Monday, but is expected to be deposed in L.A. in the next week and a half.
Once both depositions are complete, a trial date for the divorce will be set.
An Us Weekly source says Kris’ efforts are in vain and he has no chance of winning because of Kim’s “iron-clad prenuptial agreement.”
The source went on to say, “It wasn’t like he was duped and she took him to Vegas to go get married in a big hurry. He knew about everything and it was filmed. When did he all of a sudden become a dummy and not understand what was going on?”
Kim’s legal team reportedly thinks this is all a huge waste of time and money. The pair were eligible to finalize their divorce at the beginning of month, but Kris refuses to let go of wanting an annulment based on fraud.
Kim, who has clearly moved on (remember Kanye?), reportedly just wants to get this all over with.
An insider tells Us, “she is over it at this point.”
Jenna Jameson charged with DUI after hitting light post
After smashing her car into a light pole last month, Jenna Jameson has officially been charged with DUI.
The Orange County DAs Office confirms to E! News that the 38-year-old has been charged with three misdemeanor counts: driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, having a blood alcohol level of 0.08 or higher, and driving a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and a police officer told E! that Jenna, whose blood alcohol level was 0.13, “displayed objective signs of intoxication.”
The “Queen of Porn” suffered minor injuries during the crash, but declined any medical attention. If convicted on all counts, Jenna faces up to a year in jail.
