Topless women charge Trump motorcade in Paris

PARIS — At least three topless women jumped a barricade to confront President Trump’s motorcade Sunday as he traveled to a ceremony to commemorate the centennial of World War I’s end.

The incident occurred as Trump drove along the Champs Elysees roadway from the U.S. ambassador’s residence toward the Arc de Triomphe, where more than 60 world leaders gathered to mark Armistice Day.

Femen, a feminist group that has staged similar topless protests, claimed responsibility, saying on Twitter the women were protesting the “hypocrisy” of the event.

The words “fake” and “peace” were written on one woman’s body as she ran within feet of the presidential limo. Video shows the woman chased down by French security officials.

Two other women were apprehended shortly after jumping a security fence. Their chests bore the word “hypocrisy.”

The traveling White House press pool only witnessed the most successful motorcade-flashing activist.

“A topless woman, with writing on her body, got around the barriers that were blocking off the road from the blocked off sidewalk and tried to run toward the POTUS motorcade. She was quickly accosted by three security officials,” a pool report said.

In a statement, Femen said on Twitter, in French, that the group “attacked the procession” twice, using the hashtags #gangsterparty and #fakepeacemakersrealdictators.
