Trump chooses George Nesterczuk to head OPM

President Trump is naming George Nesterczuk of Virginia to serve as director of the Office of Personnel Management, the White House announced Tuesday.

OPM manages the civil service of the federal government.

Nesterczuk leads Nesterczuk and Associates, a company that provides “management consulting services to public sector institutions and private enterprises,” according to the statement.

He previously worked as senior adviser to the director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management for the Department of Defense.

OPM was the victim of a massive data breach in 2015, affecting the records of about 18 million people, according to officials.
