Donald Trump appeared to threaten former President George W. Bush that “It would be better for him if he stayed out” of the 2016 presidential race. He did not elaborate on what would happen if Bush entered the fray.
Trump made the comment in response to a question at a press conference he held this afternoon in the Southern state:
The former president is in South Carolina today, where he is holding his first campaign event for his brother, Jeb Bush.
Trump told reporters he will not be watching Bush’s event because he’s hosting his own political rally.
