Donald Trump thinks Hillary Clinton’s leading line of attack against him — that he lacks the temperament to be commander in chief — makes little sense to voters and those who know him.

“She says things about me that are horrible. As an example, the single greatest asset I have, according to those who know me, is my temperament,” the Republican presidential nominee said in an interview set to air on ABC Tuesday evening.
“But [Clinton] came up with this Madison Ave. line, ‘Oh, let’s talk about his temperament,'” Trump said. “It’s the single greatest asset I have.”
As national and state-level polls continue to tighten, Clinton has ratcheted up her attacks against her Republican opponent and his rhetoric. The former secretary of state delivered a blistering speech just before Labor Day weekend in which she accused Trump of building a campaign on “prejudice and paranoia.”
Clinton’s campaign also targeted Trump for “choking” during his recent trip to Mexico, where President Enrique Pena Nieto said his country would not pay for a southern border wall.
“Let me just tell you about choking, I don’t choke. She chokes,” Trump said.
