Media personality Megyn Kelly slammed NewsNation host Chris Cuomo, saying his claims of being humbled by his firing from CNN were unbelievable.
Cuomo returned to prime-time cable news Monday night as the host of Cuomo on NewsNation, promising “to be different than what I’ve done in the past, because I’m different.”
The former CNN host was fired from CNN last year for his role in helping his brother, former Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, combat sexual misconduct allegations. Cuomo announced in July that he would be joining NewsNation.

During The Megyn Kelly Show on SiriusXM Tuesday, Kelly told stand-up comedian Adam Carolla and attorney Mark Geragos that Cuomo is lying about the reasons why he was fired from CNN.
“Chris Cuomo goes on his show on NewsNation and says that he’s been humbled. Bulls***!” Kelly told her guests. “I don’t believe that for one second. He has not been humbled at all.”
“He’s angry at CNN and how they treated him, and he’s now found another place to work, and that’s OK. Everybody needs to pay the bills, but he’s already lying,” Kelly added. “No acknowledgment of really, what he actually did was smearing the women who are accusing his brother.”
Kelly also blasted Cuomo for promising to provide a neutral discussion of the news.
“He goes out there and tries to say, like, he’s gonna be the referee, like, he is now going to be the moderate voice of reason, because we’ve gotten too crazy partisan. He vows to appeal to the middle,” Kelly said. “No one’s gonna listen to him.”
