MSNBC post-debate panelists tore into New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, saying he was irritating and obnoxious in the first Democratic presidential debate.
“I found it mildly irritating at times. Maybe it’s de Blasio is mildly irritating to me. I’m not sure. Or maybe more than mildly irritating,” former Sen. Claire McCaskill said.
“He sounded like sort of an obnoxious guy in a restaurant or bar, talking really loud on his cellphone like everyone wants to hear what he’s saying. I wanted to hear other people’s answers,” Nicolle Wallace said.
“That was clearly his tactic. He was the first to butt in,” another panelist added.
Bill de Blasio was on the end of the 10 person debate stage, polling near the bottom of the two dozen candidates in the Democratic presidential field at 0.4% according to RealClearPolitics.
