School officials suspect a student is trying to disrupt classes at the Baltimore School for the Arts after a second bomb threat in as many days force the evacuation of students.
A note posted on a wall said there was a bomb on the third floor of the school, police sources said. A similar threat was made Wednesday.

However, parents were not notified of the first threat on Wednesday, according to one mother who did not want to be named. Although the school maintains an e-mail alert system, no notice was sent until Thursday after the second evacuation.
“The police team has just completed an extensive search of our buildings and everyone is safe and back in fourth period classes,” read the e-mail from director Leslie Shepard, sent just after noon today. “Based on all the information, searches and follow up on leads by the tactical team – they are certain that this is a student who is attempting to disrupt the learning environment.”
Students were taken to the Walters Art Gallery and Maryland Historical Society today, the note stated.
