Metro has plans this weekend to complete a bunch of platform repairs as well as cell phone cable installations – work that is expected to cause 30-minute delays for some Red and Green Line riders.
Track repair work is scheduled to take place on the Red Line between the New York Ave-Florida Ave-Gallaudet U and Rhode Island Ave-Brentwood stations, starting Friday evening and ending Sunday.
Green Line work between L’Enfant Plaza and Navy Yard will put trains on a single track, causing roughly 20-minute delays.
