Jill Biden is experiencing mild symptoms, according to Elizabeth Alexander, the first lady’s communications director. She will remain at the Bidens’ home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement that President Biden tested negative Monday evening.
“The President will test at a regular cadence this week and monitor for symptoms,” Jean-Pierre said.
President Biden and Jill Biden were together in Florida on Saturday after the pair landed in Gainesville, Florida, to survey damage caused by Hurricane Idalia in Live Oak, Florida.

Joe Biden had been at the family’s beach house for part of Labor Day weekend before he traveled to Philadelphia to speak at the annual Tri-State Labor Day Parade on Monday.
Both the president and the first lady became infected with COVID-19 last year, with both experiencing “rebound” cases after their initial recoveries from the illness.
