President Joe Biden is expected to meet with the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology on Wednesday during a campaign stop in San Francisco, California.
The president will meet the council on Wednesday morning, which the White House claimed consists of “advisers from outside the federal government charged with making science, technology, and innovation policy recommendations to the President and the White House.”

Biden is expected to appear at two other events in California in the afternoon before leaving for Arizona in the evening. He last appeared in the Silicon Valley area in June on a three-day trip.
The visit comes ahead of the second Republican Debate in Simi Valley, California. Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) has been selected to lead the Democratic response to the debate Wednesday night.
