President Joe Biden is speaking at an event touting grants to fund pay and benefits in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Biden is expected to start speaking at 12:30 p.m. Eastern time.

The White House said the city will receive the $22.4 million SAFER Grant award, which, in addition to funding salary and benefits, will allow the Philadelphia Fire Department to reopen three fire companies in the city. Following the speech, Biden is expected to speak at a campaign reception in the city — after holding campaign receptions in California over the weekend.
