Former President Donald Trump is holding a rally in Florida on the same night as the third GOP debate.
Trump is set to speak at Ted Hendricks Stadium inside Henry Milander Park at 7 p.m., according to CBS News. The former president has sat out every debate in the 2024 race.

The GOP debate is yet again a contest among those competing for second place in the GOP primary polls, as Trump still leads the field with over 56% support, according to recent polling.
Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) has fallen to a distant and contested second place with 13.9% support, and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley has been gaining ground and stands at 9% support.

The third GOP primary debate will begin around 8 p.m. at the Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami.
