Pennsylvania voters pick District Attorney in favor of death penalty, Republican Jason Walsh
Republican Jason Walsh has beaten his challenger Democrat Christina DeMarco-Breeden. Washington County’s district attorney’s race boiled down to whether or not constituents supported the death penalty.
In the two years Walsh has been in office, he sought the death penalty in five of the county’s nine murders.
