How Republicans could pump the brakes on Biden’s ‘radical’ EV push this week

House Republicans are planning to bring legislation to the floor early this week to prevent President Joe Biden’s administration from implementing strict tailpipe emissions regulations on gas-powered vehicles and stop any future electric vehicle mandate.

The House Rules Committee will take up the Choice in Automobile Retail Sales, or CARS, Act on Monday, according to Fox News, and the legislation could make it to the floor for a vote by Tuesday.
