When it comes to public sentiment toward the White House, it’s simple.
At least that’s what Vice President Kamala Harris said: “Polls — they go up, they go down.” She was referencing a poll released Sunday that showed only a minority approve of President Joe Biden.
“We had a tough poll for the president this week at ABC News and the Washington Post — highest disapproval of his presidency,” said host George Stephanopoulos on ABC News. “Shows that most Americans don’t think the administration is keeping its promises. How do you explain that, and how do you fix it?”

Biden’s approval rating in the national poll was 41%.
Harris wanted to focus on the positive aspects of the administration.
“You know, George, polls — they go up, they go down, but I think what is most important is that we remain consistent with what we need to do to deal with the issues that we’re presented with at this moment,” she said. “Let’s again look at what we accomplished — it’s historic in nature. At least the biggest investment in infrastructure in a generation in America.”
