White House dances around Biden campaign shake-up as poll numbers drag
President Joe Biden is not planning any substantive changes to his reelection campaign despite numerous polls showing him trailing former President Donald Trump in critical swing states and nationally.
Trump, the likely Republican presidential nominee, now leads Biden by 2.6% in the RealClearPolitics polling average, and polls from the New York Times, CNN, NPR, and others show Trump beating Biden in five of six battleground states. Biden still tops Trump in Wisconsin.
