- The Obamas took campaign donors to dinner on H Street NE on Thursday. Eater DC reported that the president and first lady were among those who dined at a restaurant that recently opened its doors.
- “America’s Next Top Model” is holding a casting call at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City on Saturday. ARL Now reported that the show is recruiting young women for its “college edition.”
- A developer has released a rendering of Union Market, a planned mixed-use development in Northeast D.C. DC Metrocentric has the rendering from Eden Development.
- More than 30 children who live in Georgetown and nearby neighborhoods were waitlisted at their neighborhood public schools. Georgetown Patch reported that children were waitlisted for pre-kindergarten at Hyde-Addison and Stoddert Elementary.
