Libertarian ticket drops a nickname on Clinton, Trump

Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson and his running mate Bill Weld released a lighthearted ad on Twitter Wednesday night that explains the differences between the two of them and the Republican and Democratic presidential candidates.

“Difference between the two of us and the other candidates running for president is that we’ve been there,” Johnson, the former governor of New Mexico, said.

“And done that,” the former Massachusetts governor chimed in, hinting at Donald Trump’s lack of political experience and Hillary Clinton’s never having governed a state.

Both two-term governors touted balancing budgets, battling corruption and winning elections in landslides as proof Americans would like their style of leadership if elected to the White House.

“Give us one term America, and if after four years you decide you don’t like peace, prosperity and freedom, you can always vote a Trump or a Hillary back into office again,” Johnson said as Weld rolled his eyes.

The duo also branded their ticket as a “credible alternative to CLINTRUMP.”
