President Trump said he plans to push Chinese President Xi Jinping on trade and North Korea during their meeting this week.
Speaking on Fox News ahead of an event at the White House, Trump said he plans to follow through on his tough talk during the campaign during a meeting with Xi.
“We have not been treated fairly for many, many years,” he said. “No president’s taken care of that the way they should have. We have a big problem with North Korea. We’ll see what happens.”

Trump is scheduled to meet with Xi Thursday and Friday. The two leaders have spoken by phone before, but Thursday at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property will be the first time they’ve met.
He said he expects the meeting to go well.
“We’ll be in there pitching and I think we’re going to do very well,” he said.
