After days of speculation, Jason Segel has confirmed that he will not be writing a sequel to 2011’s “The Muppets.” A new twist is that he will also not be starring in the movie either. Some had thought that even though he was too busy to write the film, he would at least play the same role he did in the original. “My goal was to bring back The Muppets, and I feel like we did it,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “I just felt like I did what I set out to do. I’m really happy that they’re back to where they belong.”
