Pumpkin spice season is approaching fast, and one website is offering a cash payment of $1,000 to one person interested in trying fall foods from the grocery chain Trader Joe’s.
Those who are interested in becoming a “Pumpkin Spice Pundit” for FinanceBuzz, a website focused on finance, will be assigned a grocery list of fall foods to try and review, such as pumpkin waffles, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin-stuffed ravioli, and pumpkin samosas. FinanceBuzz will then take the reviews of each item and use them to help shoppers decide which products are worth buying, it says.
“It’s disappointing when you branch out, buy a new food to try, and it ends up being a let down,” the offer’s description reads. “Here at FinanceBuzz, we want shoppers to get the best finds while spending less on groceries. Our Pumpkin Spice Pundit will help provide valuable recommendations and grocery shopping hacks for everyone to use!”
WHILE FOOD PRICES INCREASE, STEAK PRICES ARE ON THE DECLINE
In addition to $1,000, the person selected as FinanceBuzz’s taste tester will be given a $500 Trader Joe’s gift card to fund the grocery trips. The one selected will be required to purchase one of each seasonal fall food item at the store to taste and then review them based “on several criteria.”
FinanceBuzz clarified that this offer “is not affiliated with or endorsed by Trader Joe’s” and that the people behind the website are “just big fans of their products.”
