The House Homeland Security Committee is holding a hearing on an investigation into Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas‘s job performance.
The hearing, titled “Open Borders, Closed Case: Secretary Mayorkas’ Dereliction of Duty on the Border Crisis,” is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

Witnesses for the hearing include former acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf and two former Homeland Security officials.
On Tuesday, Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) claimed the Biden administration was touting “deceptive” numbers to claim border crossings have remained low after the end of Title 42 last month.
