The 2023 United Nations General Assembly will begin its first debate at the New York headquarters on Tuesday, centering on “rebuilding trust” and “reigniting global solidarity.”
The U.N. General Assembly will meet until Sept. 29. U.N. President Dennis Francis of Trinidad and Tobago will preside over the 78th session. The theme of the General Assembly is “rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity: Accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and its sustainable development goals towards peace, prosperity, progress, and sustainability for all.”
