Grammy-winning music producer Detail was arrested and charged with a series of sexual assaults.
Detail, 41, whose real name is Noel Christopher Fisher, was charged with 15 counts of sexual assault and five counts of felony assault for incidents that occurred between 2010 and 2018. His bail was set at $6,290,000, the Los Angeles Police Department announced Wednesday on Facebook.
“Mr. Fisher was just arrested some hours ago and I have not had an opportunity to speak to him or look at the charges. I am quite certain he will enter a not guilty plea and contest to the fullest all of these allegations,” his attorney Irwin Mark Bledstein said in a statement, according to Fox News.
Detectives on the case submitted their findings to the Los Angeles County District in January 2020 for review, which resulted in the charges getting filed at the end of July.
Detail has been in the music industry since 2005. He has produced tracks for artists such as Ray J, Beyonce, the Pussycat Dolls, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, and others. He won a Grammy in 2015 for co-writing the Beyonce and Jay-Z hit “Drunk in Love.”
Detail was sued last year for allegedly abusing and raping a model and aspiring singer. The alleged victim was awarded $15 million in the Los Angeles court case. She is one of six women to have come forward and accuse the music maker of sexual misconduct.
