President Trump said Thursday that a New York Times article that said his use of a personal cellphone poses a security risk is all wrong because he only uses government phones.
“The so-called experts on Trump over at the New York Times wrote a long and boring article on my cellphone usage that is so incorrect I do not have time here to correct it,” Trump tweeted early Thursday morning. “I only use Government Phones, and have only one seldom used government cell phone. Story is soooo wrong!”

A Wednesday report from the Times indicated that Chinese and Russian spies have been listening in on Trump’s calls with friends on his iPhones, which Trump says is impossible because he says he doesn’t use a personal device.
According to the report, Trump has three iPhones, including one that he uses as a personal phone that has not been modified for vulnerabilities by the National Security Agency.
The Times said China is able to use those calls to find out what type of arguments the president finds persuasive and who he listens to, and the Russians are probably listening for similar reasons of influence.
