President Trump on Thursday accused the press of flipping out over every White House personnel change to make it appear his administration is in disarray.
“The White House is running very smoothly and the results for our Nation are obviously very good. We are the envy of the world,” Trump posted to Twitter Thursday. “But anytime I even think about making changes, the FAKE NEWS MEDIA goes crazy, always seeking to make us look as bad as possible! Very dishonest!”

Trump fired Attorney General Jeff Sessions last week, and deputy national security adviser Mira Ricardel was forced out of the White House Wednesday. Melania Trump called for Ricardel to be fired after the two clashed during Melania’s trip to Africa in October.
Melania’s office also suspected that Ricardel was the source of some negative stories in the press about the first lady and her staff.
Reports have also emerged indicating that Trump is considering replacements for chief of staff John Kelly and Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen.
