Former Covington student Nicholas Sandmann scheduled to speak at GOP convention

Former Covington Catholic High School student Nicholas Sandmann is scheduled to speak at the Republican National Convention next week.

Trump campaign and Republican officials said that Sandmann, along with St. Louis couple Mark and Patricia McCloskey and school safety advocate Andrew Pollack, will deliver remarks at the convention. Sandmann confirmed the news on social media early Tuesday.
