Levin says he won’t watch football games: NFL celebrates ‘violent Marxist group BLM’

Conservative radio show host Mark Levin said he will not watch the NFL’s season opener tonight.

“Tonight is the NFL season opener. I will NOT be watching, and neither should you. You’ve been called supremacists and racists, you’ve been demeaned and denounced,” Levin tweeted on Thursday.

“The league and its players are protesting our country in numerous ways while celebrating the violent Marxist group BLM. Cancel the NFL as it seeks to cancel you. Defund the NFL as it seeks to defund the police. Enough is enough,” the conservative dynamo continued.

President Trump’s son and adviser Eric Trump declared the NFL “officially dead” before the season had begun.

“Football is officially dead — so much for ‘America’s sport.’ Goodbye NFL… I’m gone,” he tweeted Monday in response to a Washington Examiner story titled, “Dallas Cowboys player says officials have given team ‘green light’ to protest national anthem.”

The NFL has doubled down on its efforts in supporting the Black Lives Matter movement and called for an end to police brutality and racism this summer.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said last week that the league will “not relent” in its work and announced that social justice messages will be featured on end lines of football fields this season.

“Confronting recent systemic racism with tangible and productive steps is absolutely essential … We will redouble our efforts to be catalysts for the urgent and sustainable change that our society and communities so desperately need,” Goodell said.

The president has also repeatedly come out against protests during the national anthem, saying in July he won’t watch teams whose players kneel.

“Looking forward to live sports, but any time I witness a player kneeling during the National Anthem, a sign of great disrespect for our Country and our Flag, the game is over for me!” he tweeted.
