Attorney Michael Avenatti said Wednesday he is giving politicians advice on how to be a genuine “fighter.”
“A number of pols/operatives have contacted me recently and asked for advice on my ‘fighter messaging.’ As if anyone can just adopt it and win,” Avenatti tweeted Wednesday morning. “My response is the same each time – you are either a fighter or you aren’t. And people will crucify any politician that is disingenuous.”

The lawyer for porn star and adult entertainer Stormy Daniels has become increasingly involved in politics as he opened up a case against an alleged payment made to Daniels from the Trump campaign.
Avenatti has spoken out against Trump and his administration since taking on Daniels’ case, and has taken the Democratic stance on most political issues, including blocking the confirmation of Trump’s Supreme Court pick Brett Kavanaugh.
President Trump’s former longtime lawyer Michael Cohen plead guilty earlier in August to campaign finance charges linked to hush money payments to women who allegedly had affairs with Trump, including Avenatti’s client.
However, Trump said it was a wrongful guilty plea because the violations Cohen admitted to “are not a crime.”
