President Trump said he thought Republicans would take back the House, hold the Senate, and keep the presidency in 2020 because of impeachment.

Because of Impeachment Fraud, we will easily take back the House, add in the Senate, & again win Pres!” Trump said Wednesday on Twitter.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi announced Tuesday before the Democratic presidential debate that the House would not hold a vote on the impeachment inquiry.
“We are not here to call bluffs,” Pelosi said. “This is deadly serious.”
Trump has been pushing for an official vote to put Democrats on record over whether they support impeachment.
Pelosi backed impeachment last month after a whistleblower came forward accusing the president of withholding military aid to Ukraine in exchange for an investigation into Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.
