An old meme from 2017 resurfaced on Facebook this week, claiming that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said “building a Wall [sic] will violate the rights of millions of illegals” and pretended to clarify for doubtful viewers that “yes, she actually said that.”
No, she actually did not say that. Dear reader, there is no evidence that Pelosi ever said such a thing. Literally none. Nadda. Zilch.
But commenters don’t care. “What the hell is wrong with this woman,” one asked without a question mark (such things appear decadent in the throes of social media). Another went further, “I want to know how in the hell did she become a Democrat leader there’s something very wrong President Trump needs to fire or if he could every Democrat and start over again dumbasses I can’t get over it.”
We too, “can’t get over” the dumbassery.
