Iranian lawmakers on Wednesday burned an image of the American flag after President Trump’s announcement that he was withdrawing the U.S. from the Iran nuclear deal.
They also burned a copy of the Iran nuclear agreement and chanted “Death to America.”
“You cannot do a damn thing,” Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said Wednesday, directing his comments toward Trump, the Associated Press reported.
Khamenei said during his remarks before school teachers that Trump’s announcement had “over 10 lies,” and indicated that Trump’s speech threatened Iranian people and the government structure.
