Conservatives celebrate ‘feeble’ Mueller testimony

Many conservatives are celebrating former special counsel’s Robert Mueller’s testimony in front of the House Judiciary Committee Wednesday morning, citing his ineffective appearance.

Mueller is testifying about his two-year long investigation that determined the Trump campaign did not knowingly conspire with Russia to win the 2016 president election. The special counsel opted not to decide if the president obstructed justice in accordance with a Department of Justice guideline preventing the indictment of a sitting president.

The ex-special counsel’s testimony has been mired by his appearing confused and unfamiliar with many aspects of the report itself. Many conservatives have taken to social media to express their giddiness at Mueller’s testimony thus far.

In response, conservative radio host Mark Levin tweeted, “As I said when Mueller gave speech in May, he is feeble. I say that not as a personal attack but as a rational observation. It’s on display today during the hearing. This underscores that the person who influenced this investigation most was Andrew Weissman, his top lieutenant.”

Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani tweeted, “It’s sad so many stumbles on cross it should be stopped as a TKO.”

Ned Ryun responded to Giuliani’s tweet saying, “Exactly. Mueller has been knocked to the mat so many times you would think somehow a mercy rule would kick in. But nope, we continue to watch this massacre.”

Fox News contributor Dan Bongino called the hearing “an apocalyptic disaster” and added that committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., should resign.

Others also weighed in to poke fun at Mueller’s appearance.
