Giuliani: Black Lives Matter is a ‘domestic terrorist’ organization ‘without any doubt’

President Trump confidante and personal attorney Rudy Giuliani derided the Black Lives Matter movement.

Giuliani, who made the comments on Thursday’s episode of Fox & Friends, argued that the organization, which regained the national spotlight following George Floyd’s death at the hands of law enforcement officials in May, is a terrorist organization.

The former New York City mayor compared the Black Lives Matter movement to antifa, a loosely affiliated group of left-wing anti-fascists who have resorted to violence at times, and suggested that both are “domestic terrorist groups, without any doubt.”

“You know who knows that best? African Americans. I’ve actually had them tell me, ‘Why aren’t they classified as a terrorist group?’” Giuliani claimed. “Just because they are black, and nobody can say it? … Stop the nonsense. These are killers, and these are people who hate white people. They are people who hate white men, in particular, and they want to do away with a mother-father family. They don’t think fathers are necessary.”

Giuliani also noted that some of the leaders of the Black Lives Matters movement have controversial pasts. Susan Rosenberg, a member of the board of directors for the left-wing Thousand Currents group that handles the intake of donations made to Black Lives Matter, is a convicted terrorist who, among other things, was suspected of helping Assata Shakur, a convicted killer of a police officer, escape from prison.

Rosenberg had been a member of the radical leftist revolutionary militant group known as the May 19th Communist Organization and has affiliated with the Weather Underground terrorist group and other radicals. She was convicted on weapons and explosives charges and sentenced to 58 years in prison, serving 16 years before being pardoned by former President Bill Clinton in January 2001.

Host Ainsley Earhardt concluded the interview with Giuliani by adding, “It’s important to point out, too, Rudy, that there’s a difference in the slogan ‘Black Lives Matter’ and the group that is yelling, ‘Fry them like bacon’ — totally different,” which Giuliani called “a very, very important point” that should be made “over and over again.”
