Anthony Scaramucci: ‘I don’t care what people are doing in their bedroom’

Former White House aide Anthony Scaramucci argued Friday that people care too much about who might be sleeping with who, and not enough about what the Trump administration is doing to help Americans.

“We are in a cultural situation today where I don’t care what people are doing in their bedroom, and I don’t care what people are doing in their bedroom if they’re public officials, or nonpublic officials,” he said on CNN.

“And we should move the curve in that direction, and we should focus on the things that the president is doing for the country, not his personal life,” he added.

Scaramucci noted that Trump is making progress on a range of issues, including jobs, the pending North Korea summit, and improving the Iran nuclear agreement.

“If we would just relax on some of these stories, OK, and let him execute his strategy…” he said.

When CNN host Chris Cuomo said the issue is whether Trump lied about whether he knew porn star Stormy Daniels, Scaramucci said he’s confident Trump didn’t lie.

“The president did not break the law,” he said. “Let’s see how the facts unfold, but it’s my opinion analyzing the facts that they didn’t break the law.”
