The Washington Examiner’s Kaylee McGhee White said rising costs and ever-increasing inflation are a pattern with the Biden administration.
The commentary writer appeared on Fox News’s Your World with Neil Cavuto on Wednesday blasting President Joe Biden for targeting the oil industry, meat companies, and Russian President Vladimir Putin instead of himself.
“Inflation was at 1.7% when Biden first took office. Now, it’s at 8%. That is not a coincidence,” McGhee White said.
Cavuto suggested that people are likely to believe the economic crisis is not the Democrats’ fault if such messaging is repeated enough.
USED CAR PRICES SOAR OVER 30% SINCE 2021: REPORT
“Absolutely, but the point is that there is no evidence to justify those allegations,” McGhee White said. “Most economists actually blame the Biden administration’s stimulus package that we spent in early [2021] for the reason that inflation rate started going through the roof, but, of course, no Democrat wants to take responsibility for that, so they’re going to look to point the finger elsewhere.”
McGhee White dismissed the argument that having a limited number of meat companies is the crux of rising meat prices.

“More competition is always a great thing,” McGhee White added. “But again, there are so many other factors that contribute to this, such as the supply chain crisis, which the federal government has more control of than meat companies do. So, again, to blame specific private companies for prices that are really out of their control is very unfair by the administration.”
