A video of a woman berating a Mexican man and his mother while citing President Trump has gone viral, garnering almost 5 million views.
The woman called 27-year-old Esteban Guzman a “rapist,” and said he and his mother were “animals” and “drug dealers” while they were working a landscaping project.
“Why do you hate us?” Guzman asked the women in the video.
“Because you’re Mexicans,” she said.
When Guzman said they were honest people trying to do their jobs, she cited Trump’s claim from his 2015 announcement that he was running for president that some Mexican immigrants are rapists.
“Even the president of the United States says you’re a rapist,” the woman continued.
A friend, Esteban Guzman sent me this video of a racist white woman harassing him while out working with his mom.
“Why do you hate us?”
“Because you’re Mexicans.”

Guzman, a systems administrator and part-time landscaper, was born in the U.S. and grew up in Southern California.
“I’m not that person that, you know, that the president of the United States says I am,” Guzman told CNN when recounting the exchange. “People look at me and they see what he said on TV and that’s not true. That’s not true for any of us.”
