‘Dangerous and ridiculous’: Lindsey Graham slams Mueller for not exonerating Trump

Sen. Lindsey Graham hit back at former special counsel Robert Mueller for not exonerating President Trump when he submitted his report into Russian election interference.

“Wow. Robert Mueller changing the job of a prosecutor from proving someone ‘Guilty beyond a reasonable doubt’ to ‘Not being able to exonerate someone accused of a crime.’ Dangerous and ridiculous,” the South Carolina Republican said Wednesday during Mueller’s hearing before the House Judiciary Committee.

Mueller, 74, reiterated during the hearing that his investigation did not exonerated Trump of obstruction of justice.

When asked by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler whether he “actually totally” exonerated the president, he replied, “No.”
