Footage shows a New York Police Department officer getting run over by a driver as violence continued in the city.
In a video shared online, a dark sedan can be seen running over an officer in the Bronx and then speeding off early Tuesday morning.
“That’s a f—ing cop,” a woman can be heard saying in the video. “Oh shit!”

Rudy Giuliani called for Mayor Bill de Blasio to step down from office over his handling of the George Floyd riots, saying lives could be lost.
“He’s been a terrible mayor for six-and-a-half, seven years. Terrible. There isn’t a person in the city that will tell you he hasn’t been a terrible mayor. But now we need a vaguely competent mayor because people are going to die if this man doesn’t get out of the way and let the police department do their job,” Giuliani added.
