Trump: Media underestimated GOP voter turnout in Tuesday’s primaries

President Trump accused the media of underestimating how many Republicans would turn out to vote in Tuesday’s primary elections and said Democrats are “easy to beat” because they’re “high tax” and “high crime.”

“Many more Republican voters showed up yesterday than the Fake News thought possible. The political pundits just don’t get what is going on out there – or they do get it but refuse to report the facts! Remember, Dems are High Tax, High Crime, easy to beat!” Trump tweeted Wednesday.

Alabama, California, Iowa, Mississippi, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, and South Dakota all held primaries on Tuesday.

In Iowa, voters broke turnout records for a June primary, casting more than 279,000 votes statewide, according to reports.
