New York Times publishes, then deletes story alleging ‘fields of watermelons found on Mars’

The New York Times published, then deleted a once-in-a-melon bombshell report alleging that fruit was discovered on Mars.

“Fields of Watermelons Found on Mars, Police Say,” the headline of the Tuesday story read.

The article was taken down and the page says, “This article was published in error,” and, “A mock article intended for a testing system was inadvertently published on this page earlier.”

BIDEN BACKS INTELLIGENCE DIRECTOR’S INVESTIGATION INTO UFOS

The byline on the story was listed as “Joe Schmoe.”

“Authorities say the rise of fruit aliens is to blame for glut of outer space watermelons,” the report began. “The FBI declined to comment onreports of watermelons raining down, but confirmed that kiwis have been intercepted.”

There has been increased attention on space exploration and the unknown.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence is preparing a report that will reveal the intelligence community cannot definitively rule out that aliens or foreign governments were behind more than a hundred supposed unidentified flying object sightings.

U.S. military pilots and satellites had captured unrecognized objects in U.S. airspace, former President Barack Obama said.

“What is true, and I’m actually being serious here, is that there is footage and records of objects in the skies that we don’t know exactly what they are. We can’t explain it, how they move, their trajectory. They did not have an easily explainable pattern,” Obama said on May 18.

The White House said on May 25 that it takes reports of UFO sightings “very seriously.”
