Former aides to Hillary Clinton blamed President Trump and Republicans for the explosive devices mailed to Clinton and former President Barack Obama.
In a tweet directed at Trump, Philippe Reines told the president, “This is on you.”
“With every fiber of your rotten being you’ve incited & condoned hate,” the tweet said. “Never in 643 days have you discouraged people from unleashing the violence inside them. Your very existence requires anger & fear. You need it like normal people need oxygen.”

Peter Daou, who worked on Clinton’s 2008 campaign, blamed Republicans for “the destruction of our democracy.”

The Secret Services intercepted both packages and is engaged in an investigation.
CNN’s office in New York also received a suspicious package and employees were evacuated from the premises Wednesday morning. The three package deliveries are reportedly linked to an explosive device was also found near the New York home of liberal billionaire George Soros on Tuesday.
White House press secretary Sarah Sanders condemned the “attempted violent attacks” in a statement to reporters Wednesday.
“These terrorizing acts are despicable, and anyone responsible will be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law,” Sanders said. “The United States Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies are investigating and will take all appropriate actions to protect anyone threatened by these cowards.”
