Sen. Amy Klobuchar has revealed she was treated successfully for early stage breast cancer this year.

Klobuchar, a Minnesota Democrat who ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020, said the cancer was discovered in February after a routine mammogram at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, followed by a biopsy determining stage 1A breast cancer.
